DANCING ISN'T THE thing...

15th of February, 2008 - It's ISNHS' Juniors-Seniors Promenade. I have to admit, I really enjoyed the night.

Here's some of the pictures (to minimize the BLAH-ing!) :

okay, one of my faves.. :D

suzette. jun. jona. aris.

that's what we call addict. haha.

tsk tsk. :D i love it.

yeah, is that a new member of marconi?!

CONSTIPATION! hahaha.

my sweetie and me. :)

with three gentlemen: marvin, ernest and reyward.

okay. no comment.

:)

It's not the dancing that I enjoyed most but it's that feeling when you are with your friends. *wink*

POST NO. 6

Windows Media Player is IT! :)

I was puzzled on how to use this application at first, but then it turned out to be enjoyable. I used pictures of my favorite band in my film, with their latest single. I am really amazed because I can't believe that a simple song and simple pictures would turn out sooo beautiful.

BLAH.. BLAH.. BLAH.. BLAH.. BLAH..

FEBRUARY turned out to be very memorable. It started with a blast as we had our Recollection. Our school's the venue, though, but I still enjoyed it. Next best thing is the coming Juniors-Seniors Promenade. I hope it would turn out better that last year.

Happy.. or not?

*YAWN*

It’s December 1st – my mom finally removed November in our calendar. How I wish year 2007 wouldn’t last because it would mean that graduation is fast approaching.

Cold breeze started to touch my skin but still, I can’t feel the essence of Christmas because:

As a matter of fact, Christmas 2007 for me is the WORST so far (yeah, you heard it right, not to mention my absence during the last Misa de Gallo.

So much for the Christmas thing, the rest of my December went smoothly as I we are getting deeper in our TLE subject. We are learning more about the HTML. Activities are done and after which we test our new knowledge by writing in a paper the tags used in an activity. It really helped me a lot because now, I can design my texts. :D

I also experienced caroling from Caoayan but only have I learned that students caroling are prohibited. But then, I really enjoyed doing it.

During the last days of December, I went to Cervantes together with my family. We had bad luck as our way was covered with soil and it took nearly 5 hours for men to remove it. Arriving there, I saw people really different from us. Their hearts are light and I can see in their faces that they can feel love and happiness. I thought maybe I could be like them if only I would help myself; I learned to communicate more with God and it felt so right.

Lessons in life come every day, it’s just that we cannot notice it. If you would just open your eyes and heart to what is happening around you, you would see… that the world is a very beautiful place. As for me? I have already discovered it myself…

SEMBREAK HERE I COME!! :)

WHAT TIME IS IT? IT'S... IT'S SEMBREAK TIME! (LOL)

But before having this "glorious" celebration, we have had some experiences.
Experiences which, in my part, validated my whole life.

NUMBER ONE IN MY LIST: a new-found friendship!
Okay, I know you know that Kristalene is my friend ever since.
But this one's different - she's beginning to enter the deepest chamber of my heart.
Being with her, I have discovered things that I thought do not exist.
She opened my eyes to the other side of everything I'm in. It's unexplainable.

NUMBER TWO: MY HALF-DAY EXPERIENCE WITH KIDS!
It's 13th of October when we celebrated the Children's Month.
And we adopted a child from a Day Care Center - Francis Dominic Rojas.
At first, he was like "uyyyy! ang cuuuuuuute naman! at tahimik!",
but then silent-type children make me sick.
We have had a hard time making him happy, especially that he is annoyed?
(haha. it's a question alright)
It was nearly go-home-now when his spirit went up.
He's soooo energetic, and i got tired playing with him. (he even calls me a LOSER!)

Actually I have a lot more to say but since ma'am is
going to check our blogs tonight,

i guess i'll just have to stop here. TOODLES!

Hope for the Second Grading Period

1/4 of the school year has already been consumed; and we were able to see the reflections of our efforts-we have received our cards.

Upon seeing the card, I began screaming (I guess it's more on laughing) when I saw that my grades were higher than what I have expected. Having 92 as my highest grade and 84 as my lowest, I swore to myself, "I will do better this second grading period."
Also, I have realized that studying is not a matter of guessing what to do but it is a way of improving yourself. Getting active in class, I have learned lessons (I mean, new lessons) and I found it easy to answer a lot of questions given during quizzes. But it doesn't mean that I'm not having difficulties. I get a little trouble with understanding equations, updating my diary (You see, it's not everyday that I experience significant events) and most of all managing my time in doing other things.
Difficult it is, but I have to sacrifice my time facing our PC just to have more time to review lessons. I found it useful and it really opened new doors for me.
And for that, I won't stop. I will continue to improve and I hope, this grading period, my grades will go higher.

my, oh my!

i am reviewing. or taking pictures?

i have been "busy" for two weeks.

july 16 and 17. we (16 of us) in the class enjoyed two whole days of doing nothing. the rest of our classmates attended the Red Cross seminar... two days of DOING NOTHING. imagine that. but nuh-uh. THEY are the ones doing NOTHING. as for me, i am using my time wisely - i reviewed MSA and all that "praning" stuff about the coming UPCAT.

no to iPOD for the meantime.

july 18. thank God they're back (i have missed our class' noise) and so were our teachers, obviously. i thought of having enjoyment; i went to Anrosjay with pichy... it turned out to be a regret for my money (almost all) waved me goodbye as we went back to school. since then i promised to myself that i would use my money wisely.

july 19. i woke up early. it's the FOOD FESTIVAL! (its f-o-o-d alright?) tsk tsk. too bad my expectations turned me down. LUGI KAMI!

july 20. we have had our usual routine with our morning classes. during the afternoon, we just talked, talked and talked more; and you know what? I WENT HOME EARLY..

my bear loves to smell it. haha.

july 23. it's monday. and nothing sensible happened except during the night when i watched Racing Stripes in my room. the story is about a zebra who strived to become a racer horse. it gave me an idea: that nothing is imposibble if you just believe in yourself and work hard.

july 24. nothing significant happened, still reviewed for the UPCAT.

well. that's it. my life for the past two weeks.

My First Blog

1. What are the new learnings/discoveries that I have learned?

Computer 4 Education started with a "BLAST!" New informations are filling our minds. As a start, I have learned about the history of Internet; from the time it was first used, to the first royal e-mail, to the creation of a virus, until how we use it today..

It is really good for a student like me who uses the internet, to know something about it.. that there are many happenings that took place before finally coming up with the 'internet' that we know today.

Furthermore I have learned to use search terms so that researching for me would be a lot easier than it was before..

Some of the things we discuss are not new to me, though, but it's a good thing to add my knowledge about those things that I already knew. :D

2. What are the problems/challenges that I have encountered?

problems?! uhmmmmm...

hhmmmmmmm..

... so far I only remembered having a problem with this subject when we are in the history of the Internet. (FYI: i am weak when it comes to memorization), especially the years, for heaven's sake! ;;)

3. How did I address these challenges?

hardwork and patience is the main reason I have overcomed my problems/challenges. I was in determination to have good grades so I tried to improve my memorization. (really now, huh, I am really starting to be SERIOUS in studies! *wink*)

4. moving on...

now what?

i think i will continue what i've started which is, i think, a good one. :)

review every lessons and not let myself be behind our learnings..

and most of all......... (I'm afraid I don't have something left to say..)

I'LL IMPROVE MY MEMORIZATION, THAT IS, BEING PATIENT WHENEVER WE HAVE LESSONS LIKE THAT OF THE HISTORY!

*clap clap clap*
